Linksys SPA9000 Adapter

The SPA9000 marries the rich feature set of high-end PBX telephone systems with the convenience and cost advantages of Voice over IP. It has common voice system features such as an auto-attendant, shared line appearances, three way call conferencing, intercom, music on hold, call-forwarding and much more. The SPA9000 opens up access to the benefits of VoIP, including low cost long distance service, telephone number portability, and one network for both voice and data.

The SPA9000 is so easy to configure that a fully working system can be set up in minutes. New telephones are automatically detected and registered when they are connected to the SPA9000. The SPA9000 has an integrated web server that allow features to be configured using a web browser. The web server has multiple levels of password protected access to user and service level features. Service level settings may be locked by the Internet Telephone Service Provider to ensure they are not inadvertently corrupted. The Internet Telephone Service Provider also can remotely update the software and settings through a secure encrypted connection.

While the SPA9000 will work with any SIP compatible IP Phone, it is the ideal host for Linksys IP Phones, such as the SPA901, SPA921, SPA922, SPA941, and SPA942. Powerful configuration capabilities enable the SPA9000 to support a greater set of advanced features with these IP Phones, such as shared line appearances, hunt groups, call transfer, call parking lot, and group paging. With its two FXS ports, the SPA9000 can support traditional analog devices such as telephones, answering machines, FAX machines, and media adapters.

Linksys SPA3102 Adapter

The SPA3102 features the same VoIP adapter functionality found in the SPA1002 and SPA2102 with an additional benefit of an integrated connection for legacy telephone network "hop-on, hop-off" applications. SPA3102 users will be able to leverage their broadband phone service connections more than ever by automatically routing local calls from cell phones and land lines to VoIP service providers and vice versa. If power is lost to the unit or Internet service is down, calls can be redirected to a traditional carrier via the FXO interface.

A user calling from a land line or mobile phone will be able to reduce and even eliminate international and long distance telephone charges by first calling their SPA3102 via a local phone number. The advanced authentication and call routing intelligence programmed into the SPA3102 will connect the caller via the Internet to the far end destination. Using the SPA3102 at the far end, calls can be answered immediately or further processed as a local call to any legacy land line or mobile phone.

Linksys SPA2102

Inexpensive, easy to install and simple-to-use, the Linksys SPA2102 connects a standard telephone or fax machine to IP-based data networks. IP telephony service providers and enterprises can offer residential customers traditional and enhanced communication services via a broadband connection to the Internet or Local Area Network (LAN).

The SPA2102 features two RJ11 POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) ports for connection to existing analog phones, fax machines, PBX and key system communication platforms. Each SPA2102 telephone port can be independently configured via software controlled by the service provider and/or the end user. The SPA2102 also includes two RJ45 Ethernet ports. One Ethernet port connects to a broadband modem or router (WAN), while the other is an outgoing Ethernet port for connecting an additional PC or other device (LAN).
